Description

Unipolar stepper motor 12V with built-in 1:20.35 reduction gearbox that gives resolution 976.8 steps per revolution that correspond to about 1.9 micrometers per step at standard 6mm shaft diameter Crayford focuser with 1:10 reduction gearbox. The motor is designed to rotate the microfocuser shaft in telescopes with a focal ratio of f/3 or slower. The motor is equipped with an RJ 6-pin socket and the cable ended with a DB9 or RJ plug. This is compatible with the Robofocus standard, which can be powered by many different controllers – AstroLink, AstroHub, Moonlite, USB Focus, and many others. Motor torque is enough to work with the medium, large, and very large Crayford focusers and R&P focusers (up to 4″) with a load of up to 7-8kg.

To rotate the main focuser shaft motor with 1:120 reduction should be used.
