Focusing motor for Baader Steeltrack / Diamondtrack focusers

Description

Stepper motor with integrated gearbox and bracket for Baader Steeltrack and Diamondtrack focusers.

Technical data and recommended settings:

• integrated gearbox 1:20
• resolution: approx. 1um per step
• maximum voltage: 12V DC
• maximum current: 400mA
• maximum speed: 400 steps per second
• recommended settings: 200mA current, 300 steps per second speed

In the box:

• focusing motor with enclosure and RJ12 6 pin socket
• fixing bracket to Baader Steeltrack/Diamondtrack focusers
• toothed belt
• focusing cable (optional)

Installation:

1. remove screw 1, loosen screw 2, loosen screws 3
2. tilt the focuser motor enclosure and put the toothed belt on
3. tilt the enclosure back, insert screw 1, and tighten screws 1 and 2
4. move the stepper inside the enclosure to set proper tension to the toothed belt (not much) and tighten screws 3
